Automation Anywhere 10.x Enterprise Software was pushed to history on March 31st 2020, this was the date on which Automation Anywhere 10.x Software was declared End of Life — meaning, Once the EOL date has reached, Automation Anywhere will no longer provide technical support, bug fixes for the 10.x Enterprise Software Release Family; the software images will then be removed from the Automation Anywhere download sites. Product information will then be limited to historical material that may be available in the Automation Anywhere documentation or in other online resources, which may be removed at any time after the EOL date.

Hence they recommended organizations to migrate to AA 11.3x last year which was more sophisticated and advanced compared to 10.x and highly compatible with windows 10 (Announcement came just few months before Microsoft announced EOL for Windows 7 OS).

With this, I acquired two top certificates of AAE v11 which were meant for developers by Automation Anywhere University before the software migration could begin in my previous organization during Q1 of 2019.

While many organizations like ours were migrating to Automation Anywhere 11.3x, A2019 was announced last year with tag line — “Automation made Brilliant”. Indeed A2019 Enterprise product is more powerful than its ancestors by incorporating commands and plugins to work with AWS comprehend NLP, Salesforce, ML, Python and many more.

Automation Anywhere certified Advanced RPA Professional

Last month during the pandemic i.e, in June 2020, I became Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional — Enterprise A2019, thus keeping myself up to date in Automation Anywhere tools and also certified in all the existing enterprise versions. Many of my LinkedIn connections were keen to know the differences between Enterprise versions of v11 and A2019 soon I was awarded with certification in A2019.

With all these certifications in 3 enterprise versions of the software and with demonstrated experience in developing Automation Anywhere scripts for process automation from 2.7 years, have worked on 4 major versions of Automation Anywhere — v9.x, v10.x, v11.x and A2019.

Below are the key differences which I have observed while working as Automation Anywhere developer between A2019 and AAE v11.

Hope his would help you to pick the right version of the AA tool if you are new to RPA and also it would help you if you are planning to migrate to A2019.
